As the CEO and co-founder of Sherpa Fiber, Allen Meyer directly oversees the day-to-day activities of the business. With 27 years of telecom related experience, Allen has the expertise and professional relationships necessary to successfully complete the construction of fiber projects and effectively manage the operation of fiber networks once they are live.

Prior to becoming CEO of Sherpa Fiber, Allen was the Director of Business Development at BHC Rhodes Engineering and the MultiService Corporation. During those ventures, Allen helped create new processes in sales and account management, managed new and existing clients, developed personal relationships with business owners nationally, and he helped execute business development campaigns that allowed for up to 300% growth of BHC Rhodes Engineering. Allen is also regarded as an extremely active professional networker with trusted relationships going back nearly three decades with professionals at companies like Google Fiber, Black & Veatch, Kiewit, General Dynamics, and Dycom. He credits his diverse network of peers in engineering, outside plant construction, and project management as a large part of the reason so many projects he has lead or participated in have been successful.

With his extensive expertise, Allen and his team at Sherpa Fiber have the ability to leverage his fiber optic experience to create smart, connected cities and a better quality of life for its citizens.

As co-founder and investor in Sherpa Fiber, Darren brings 25 years of experience in the information technology, data center and telecommunications industries. Prior to his work with Sherpa Fiber, he was co-owner and CEO of 1102 GRAND (now part of Netrality Properties) and successfully guided the company from early stage to a successful exit through the sale of the building and business assets to a private equity group in New York.

Darren has also worked on a 2000+ mile long haul fiber build out for a Tier 1 carrier, and most recently he has jointly set the overall business strategy for WANRack LLC and oversees the finance, accounting, and compliance activities. Through his time at WANRack, Darren has been actively involved as the company constructs and operates private fiber networks for the K-12 educational community in 13 states spanning Nevada to Ohio.

In addition, Darren is co-founder of KCnext (now The Technology Council of Kansas City) where he served on the Board of Directors, and he has been interviewed on television, radio, podcasts, and quoted or featured in a wide range of print publications including The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, and The Kansas City Business Journal.
